Student Support

At the Colne Community School and College we take the support of our students very seriously both academically and pastorally.

Form tutors are accessible for students to discuss any problems or difficulties they may be experiencing.

Subject teachers are available outside of lesson time for students to discuss any difficulties they may have with understanding what they are being taught, problems they may have with completing homework or anything else relating to a particular subject.  This support sits alongside the numerous revision and coursework sessions currently running across the subject areas.

Year Leaders are available throughout the day to help with any problems that students encounter at school.

Mrs L Sayers – Year 7 Leader
Ms D Hastie – Year 8 Leader
Ms C Skeggs – Year 9 Leader
Mr M Feakins Ward – Year 10 Leader
Mrs D Stannard – Year 11 Leader
Mr B Elliott – Pastoral Leader (Key Stage 3)
